How to PlayIn craps, the player bets on whether the dice roll will result in a win or loss. Bet AmountYour bet amount is indicated by an arrow pointing at one of the chip amounts in your chip set. ![]() Change the value of the bet you are about to place by clicking on the desired chip amount. The arrow will move to the chip indication this is the new chip amount. Make BetsOnce you have set your bet amount, click the area(s) of the table where you would like to place bet(s). The appropriate chips will appear on the table. Remove BetsTo remove your bet(s) Shift+click the appropriate bets on the table or press the Undo button. The appropriate chips will disappear from the table. PlayOnce you have placed your bet(s), click the Roll, or Quick Roll button. The player control area includes New Game, Roll, Quick Roll, Place Across, and Undo buttons, and a chip stack to select bet amounts. You can place bets by clicking the desired bet area, and remove bets by holding the Shift key and left-clicking on the bet circle or by using the Undo button which will remove any bets that have just been placed. For convenience, the value of the last chip clicked on the chip stack is held in memory (indicated with an arrow) and can be repeated without returning to the chip stack. Details on table limits can be viewed by mousing over the table card. Details on bet types, their odds and payouts can be viewed by mousing over the bet square and viewing the message area or pressing Ctrl + left clicking to display a help box.
RulesCraps is played with two dice. Betting chips are used to place bets. Three numbers are "Craps" - the 2, 3, 12. The game of Craps can be considered a game of rounds. A round begins with a beginning (come-out) roll. The round ends with either making point or 7 out (see Pass Line). As the dice roller (shooter), you must make a either Pass Line or Don't Pass wager on the comeout roll in order to play.
BetsThere are numerous betting options, any number of which can be made during the same roll. Pass lineOn the come-out roll, 7 or 11 wins, Craps loses. Any other number becomes "point" (marked with the ON puck). ![]() To win the Pass Line bet, point must be repeated (making point) before 7 is rolled (7 out). Once point is made or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled. The next roll becomes the new come-out roll. For example, the come-out roll is 8, and becomes point. The shooter continues to roll until an 8 (Pass Line wins) or 7 (Pass Line loses) is rolled. To make a Pass Line bet, click on the section of table marked Pass Line. ![]() Payout is 1:1 (even money). The Pass Line wager is a contract bet; it cannot be removed or reduced once the point is established, until it wins or loses. Don't passThe Don't Pass bet is the opposite of the Pass Line bet except rolling a 12 is pushed and returned to the bettor. Don't Pass bets must be placed before the come-out roll is thrown. On the come-out roll, 7 or 11 loses, 2 or 3 wins, 12 pushes. Any other number becomes "point" (marked with the ON puck). To win the Don't Pass bet, 7 must be rolled before point is repeated (making point). Once point is made or 7 is rolled, the bet is settled. The next roll becomes the new come-out roll. Odds Bet OverviewYou can accompany your Pass Line, Don't Pass, Come, Don't Come bets with an Odds bet. The Odds bet is popular because it pays "true odds" on your bet. True odds are based on comparing the chance of your number being rolled before the 7. To illustrate, the diagram below shows the 7's chance of being rolled (6 in 36) is twice that of the 4 (3 in 36) so placing an Odds bet in favor of the 4 will pay 2 to 1, in favor of the 7 will pay 1 to 2.

To make a Place bet, click on the space marked Place Bets, and below the desired number square. ![]() Place bets are marked OFF during the come-out roll. To make Place bets on all number spots (except the point) you can use the "Place Across" button. This will place the bets using whatever denomination is currently selected (the chip amount highlighted with an arrow). Each click on the "Place Across" button will increase the bet. ![]() If you click "Place Across" again, the bets will increase to 10, press it again, increase to 15. LayBets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Place, Buy, Lay bets. ![]() A Lay bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the 7 will be rolled before number.
To make a Lay bet, click on the space marked Lay Bets, and above the desired number square. ![]() LAY bets are "ON" during the come-out roll. The LAY bet pays true odds less 5% of your winnings (commission fee or "vig"), which is deducted from your winnings. BuyBets on specific numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 can be made using Place, Buy, Lay bets. ![]() A BUY bet on 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is that the number will be rolled before the 7.
To make a Buy bet, click inside the desired number square. ![]() Buy bets are "OFF" during the come-out roll. The Buy bet pays true odds less 5% of your bet (commission fee or "vig"), which is deducted from your winnings. Big 6 and Big 8Bets that a 6 or an 8 will be rolled before a 7. To make a Big 6 or Big 8 bet, click the section of the table marked Big 6 or Big 8. ![]() Big 6 and Big 8 bets pay 1 to 1 (even money). FieldA one-roll bet that the next roll will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. To make a Field bet, click the section of the table marked Field. ![]() 2 and 12 pay double or 2 to 1.
Propositions BetsProposition bets are located on the right side of the Internet craps table. To make a proposition bet, click on the desired square. ![]() HardwaysWhen a pair (matching dice) is used to make a number it's called the "hard way", because there is only one way to make them. i.e. Two 2's are "Hard 4". Both 1 and 3, or 3 and 1, are "Soft 4". A Hardways bet is a bet that the hard number will come up before a 7 or the soft number. Hardways numbers are 4, 6, 8, and 10.

ResultsIf you win, your balance ("Bank") increases. Winning and betting chips are returned close to your chip set. The amount returned can be verified by mousing over the stack, which will then show the value of the stack. If you lose, your chips are gathered from the bet spot and moved toward the dealer's chips.
VerificationWinnings, Losings, Results and dice outcome remain on the table for your examination until you press the Roll or Quick Roll button or place new bets.
